If your restaurant is not a part of any multi-billion dollar franchise you probably have to make decisions regarding every aspect of the restaurant: from the menu to the tablecloth color to the logo design. Often what makes or breaks a restaurant comes down to two priorities: food quality and décor. The way your restaurant s interiors are designed and maintained will have a huge impact on the customers liking it in the first visit and coming back for more and more. And one way to ensure a helpful sprucing up includes proper awnings shade structures and canopies. For one thing awnings and commercial shade structures are all about making a first impression. Remember that long before a restaurant patron has taken their first bite of bread or sipped their first cocktail they ve already surveyed the exterior of the building.
So often they become dirty. You can always restore the original look and feel of the awnings by cleaning them at least twice a year. It is also a good idea to take the awning down to easily clean the harder-to-reach areas. Brush the Dirt and Debris Off: The awning needs to be washed thoroughly using a solution. But you must use a brush to remove the loose dirt and debris. The brushing off will prevent the dirt from getting soaked into the awning fabric during the washing process. You can rub the areas of the fabric that are affected by dirt and debris using a broom or a soft cleaning brush available at the local janitorial supply shops. However you need to ensure that dirt is removed from the underneath and top of the awning. If you have not take the awning down use a ladder to brush off the hard-to-reach areas.
So before getting on the designing table take stock by checking out the entire area entrance and booths included and see what you have got to build on. Just remember that you have to create an ambience which will help customers enjoy their food better and bring them back again. For instance for a joint on the beach you can have a tropical décor theme with the colors of the sun sand and the sea on your walls and furniture. Similarly for a rock music themed restaurant you can use dark colors on your walls put up posters of rock legends and use dim lighting etc. to create the dreamy effect of a rock star s van.
